They say that internet spending will grow by at least 10.7 percent for the next four years. This is good news for people that are running internet based businesses. The bad news for them though is that as more and more people are becoming unemployed the number of websites that are selling products keeps increasing as these unemployed people are searching for ways to earn some money. This is increasing the competition among various websites for customers.

When you are talking about spending on the internet, the United States ranks number one. This country alone can spend close to forty billion dollars every year purchasing products and services of the internet. China is supposed to overtake them by 2010 but till then, the U.S. is the main market to focus on for internet marketers.
